• Old oil removed, new oil added • All oil levels checked • Parts greased • Oil filter replaced • Cooling system and coolant checked • Hoses, clamps, belts checked and replaced as needed • Check exhaust system, suspension and steering is secure • Check front and rear brakes and brake fluid • Lubricate and inspect transmission linkages • Check drive train components • Check and adjust tyre pressures • Check air and fuel filters and replace as needed • Check and replace spark plugs and high tension leads • Check and re-set ignition timing, idle speed and idle mixture • Attach Autologic Engine analyser and check operation of all engine systems. • Check operation of all lights and electrical components • General safety inspection and report ​ AVERAGE TIME: 2-3 HOURS
40,000km Major Service
• Change all oils and fluids including both differentials, gearbox, transfer box, front swivel hubs • Clean and replace all filters • All oil levels checked • Parts greased as needed • Cooling system and coolant checked • Condition of hose, clamps, belts checked and replaced as needed • Check exhaust system, suspension and steering secure • Check condition of front and rear brakes • Flush braking system • Change brake fluid • Check clutch operation • Lubricate and inspect transmission linkages • Check drive train components • Check and adjust tyre pressures • Check air and fuel filters and replace as necessary • Check spark plugs and high tension leads and replace if needed • Check and re-set ignition timing, idle speed and idle mixture • Attach Autologic Engine analyser to check operation of all engine systems and report as necessary • Check operation of all lights and electrical components • Road test and report AVERAGE TIME: 4-5 HOURS
Oil Change
Did you know you can literally double the life of your engine through regular oil changes? Taxi cab owners have an oil change done every 3 months in order to get maximum life out of their engine. This keeps their engine going for as much as 500,000 km or more while the rest of us get around 300,000km due to infrequent oil changes. Some car owners believe or are told that their oil only needs to be changed every 10,000 or 15,000kms, especially owners of late model vehicles. Not knowing all the facts can damage your car’s engine and result in much unnecessary expense. If your vehicle travels less than 20 kilometres per trip for more than half its journeys, you should have the oil changed every 5,000 – 7,000kms. ​It is estimated that 80% of vehicles fall into this category with short trips to work, to the station, to school or to the shopping centre. This creates a greater risk of increased engine wear and damage compared to a car that travels long enough to vaporise the potentially damaging contaminants.

Log Book Servicing
This service is interval based. We check your service book or online service history meticulously and recommend to you, our valued customers the service required on your vehicle.

We have full access to all Land Rover service schedules and based on kilometres travelled or period of time covered, we recommend the service that is required for you!
Interim Service
This service is aimed at vehicles that do not travel the 10000kms between services and travel short urban trips. This is known as “Arduous conditions” for the modern day motor vehicle, especially late model diesel cars fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF). This prevents high levels of oil dilution and will aid the longevity of your engine. More information above under “Oil Change”.
Fault finding & Electronic System Health Check
Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles occasionally throw some colourful lights on the dash with words like “engine system fault” or “restricted performance”.

As a Land Rover/ Range Rover Specialist, we are fully equipped with all the latest Land Rover Diagnostic equipment. We have full access to Topix (Land Rover workshop manual and elecrical circuit diagrams), Topix cloud diagnosis, SDD (symptom driven diagnosis) and Autologic remote programming and technical support.
